The Core Privacy Promise: Flow Notepad does not have a database. We do not store your notes, your IP address, or your identity on any server.

1. Data Collection & Storage

Unlike traditional online notepads, Flow Notepad uses Local Storage and IndexedDB technology. This means:

Your text is saved directly into your browser's private database on your own device.
No data is transmitted to our servers during the writing or saving process.
If you clear your browser cache without exporting, your notes are permanently deleted because we do not have a backup.

2. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use tracking cookies. We do not use third-party analytics (like Google Analytics) that track your behavior across the web. We want to provide a clean, "quiet" environment for your thoughts.

3. Third-Party Services

Our website is a static application. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties because we never had access to your information in the first place.

4. User Responsibility

Because Flow Notepad is a privacy-first utility, you are the sole owner of your data. We recommend using the "Export" feature regularly to keep manual backups of your important notes on your hard drive.
